Ladder for Players

The Q3Rally Ladder at ladder.q3rally.com collects match results from servers and builds leaderboards per game mode and map.

What gets recorded

At the end of every match on a ladder-enabled server, the results are uploaded automatically:

  • Finishing position and score
  • Best lap and total race time (race modes)
  • Kills and deaths (combat and armed race modes)
  • Flag captures and assists (CTF modes)
  • Control-point and hill times (Domination / King of the Hill)
  • 🧪 Goals, assists, saves, shots and demolitions (Autoball)
  • The car you drove

Bots are included in the match data but marked as bots.

On the ladder website

  • Leaderboards per mode and map, filterable by Online / Offline / All
  • A player profile with career stats and achievement tiers
  • 🧪 Development build: a Ghosts tab with the fastest lap ghosts per map, track variant, car and map version. You can download them as .ghost files.

Your profile

On first launch the profile wizard asks for a display name. Everything else (gender, birth date, avatar, country) is optional. The last step asks whether you want to join the ladder. You can skip it.

Offline registration (single player)

You don't need a dedicated server to show up on the ladder. Races you drive offline can be uploaded too:

  1. A registration wizard appears when the game starts. It keeps appearing until you register or choose Never.
  2. Enter your player name and a contact e-mail address.
  3. Click Register. The request runs in the background and the game stays responsive.
  4. When it succeeds, the game configures itself. No console editing needed.
  5. A ladder admin approves your registration. After that, your offline results are uploaded at the end of each session.

Your offline registration shows up on the ladder with the suffix _OFFLINE, so it can be told apart from dedicated servers.

🔒 The access key is stored in your q3config.cfg as a protected cvar. Mods and the console can't read or change it.
