Data Providers
Data providers supply TradePress with broker data, market data, technical data, research data, or account information.
| Provider type | Typical data |
|---|---|
| Broker | Portfolio, positions, orders, account details. |
| Market data | Quotes, candles, symbols, technical inputs. |
| Research | News, sentiment, earnings, forecasts, economic events. |
Most provider-backed features require an API key or account connection.
Use demo or sandbox credentials first when available. Do not use live trading credentials until you understand what the connected feature can do.
A provider can be configured but still unable to serve a specific feature. Check feature health and provider-specific notices before relying on output.
TradePress should queue provider refreshes and display stored data. A normal page load should not be expected to fetch live provider data immediately.
