TradePress is phasing out user-visible demo, mock, random, and sample market output.
When Developer Mode is off:
- Demo-only views should be hidden.
- Random or mock-data tabs should be hidden.
- Unfinished trading, automation, advisor, AI, and experimental views should be hidden.
- Public views should use real stored data or show a clear empty state.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Coming Soon | The feature is intentionally not available yet. |
| In Development | Work is active but not release-ready. |
| No Data | The feature works but has no stored/imported data to show. |
| Requires API Key | Provider configuration is required. |
Developer-only and diagnostic views may be visible. Generated data should be clearly labelled so it cannot be mistaken for real market output.
If you see demo-looking market data while Developer Mode is off, report:
- Page or tab name
- What looked fake or random
- Whether an API key is configured
- Screenshot or copied page text
TradePress is currently in alpha. Verify provider configuration, data freshness, and feature health before relying on output.
