Troubleshooting

Use this page when TradePress output looks incomplete, stale, or incorrect.

A Feature Shows Failed

Check the reason shown beside the feature.

Common causes:

• API key missing
• Provider unavailable
• Data import failed
• Required data is stale or missing
• Scoring directive failed
• Dependency unavailable

If a failed directive is used by an active scoring or trading strategy, that strategy should pause automatically.

A Feature Shows Warning

Warnings mean the feature may still be usable, but output is degraded.

Common causes:

• Cached data is being shown.
• A fallback provider is being used.
• Optional data is missing.
• Confidence is reduced.

Data Looks Like Demo Data

Regular users should not see demo, random, mock, or sample market output as if it is real.

If you see demo-looking market data while Developer Mode is off, report it.

Scores Look Wrong

Remember that raw scores are not always percentages. Check:

• Which strategy is selected
• Which directives are active
• The strategy maximum score
• Whether any directive has warning or failed health

What To Report

Include:

• Page or tab name
• Feature name
• Health status
• Error or warning text
• Provider name, if visible
• Strategy name, if relevant
• Screenshot or copied JSON output, if available
