Experimental Features (English)

中文 | English

What is this

Experimental features are new capabilities in Ez2Lazer that are currently being tested. They may be unstable or adjusted in future versions.

Current Experimental Features

Judgement Clock Sub-frame Compensation

Provides more precise judgement timing, reducing judgement errors caused by frame rate fluctuations.

Latency Survey Tracking

Helps developers and advanced users track and analyze audio/input latency issues for optimizing gameplay experience.

Camera HUD

Enable Camera HUD is off by default. While off, the capture backend is not loaded and frame rate is unaffected. EzHUDCamera in a skin enumerates devices and shows a picture only after it is on. See HUD Widgets.

Game Clock Investigation

Provides detailed monitoring of the internal game clock for diagnosing performance issues and synchronization anomalies.

Local Profile / Mania Skills recompute

Experimental settings can trigger Local Profile Skills recompute (ComputeAsync): aggregate scores → SSR / clear evidence → DualPanel skillsets.

Song-select DualPanel and radar Skill mode are read-only; recompute starts here. See Mania Skills System.

How to Enable

These features are disabled by default and need to be manually enabled in the advanced options of settings.

Notes

  • Experimental features may affect game stability
  • Not recommended for official competitions or score recording
  • Features may be adjusted or removed in subsequent versions
