A main-screen tab (Gitot Issues) listing the repo's open issues. Requires a GitHub PAT (see Credentials and GitHub Token) and an origin hosted on github.com. Disable it entirely with github_issues_enabled in Settings.
-
Header:
owner/repo · N open · N Bug · N High priority, Refresh, Clear PAT. The counts cover all open issues, whatever the filters show.Highis an exact match:Urgentissues are not counted. - List (left): sortable columns (number, title, date, type, priority, labels). Click a header to sort.
- Filters: Type, Priority and Label dropdowns, built from the fetched data and applied client-side (no extra requests).
- Detail (right): metadata, colored label pills, Markdown body, Open in Browser.
From the detail view: the name is generated as <type-prefix><number>-<title-slug> (e.g. feature/12-fix-login) and is editable. Pick a base branch (defaults to the current one). A dirty working tree asks for confirmation first.
- Issues load 50 per page, up to 8 pages (400 issues), stopping at the first short page.
- Reads native issue Type and the organization Priority issue field when present.
- Token expired or revoked (HTTP 401): Gitot deletes it and asks for a new one.
- Other hosts (GitLab, Gitea...): the tab logs "Issues are only available for repositories hosted on github.com." and fetches nothing. The rest of Gitot works on any host.
