Stash Manager (Shelf)

Foldable list built from git stash list: name, branch, relative date (exact date on tooltip). The title reads Shelf (count/cap). Entries made from a terminal are listed too.

Actions

  • Stash: stashes everything (staged, unstaged and untracked, -u). The optional name field becomes the message; blank uses git's own WIP on <branch>: ....
  • Pop: applies the selected entry (the latest by default) and removes it. Only the files the stash touched are refreshed in the editor (scenes reload, stale-script toast).
  • Drop: asks for confirmation. Git's output contains the dropped SHA and is logged, so a mistake can be undone with git stash store <sha>.

Cap

max_stashes (Settings, 1-50, default 10). When full, Stash is disabled. Existing entries are never deleted automatically.

Notes

  • The selection is kept across refreshes (tracked by SHA).
  • A failed pop (conflict) refreshes nothing and logs git's raw output. Check for conflict markers.
  • Popping after a branch switch can reintroduce files that conflict with the new branch. See Troubleshooting.
