Testing

Last run (v0.16.0): 19 suites, 152 tests, 0 failures (Godot 4.7.2, Windows).

Automated: GdUnit4

Pure logic only:

• Parsers: status, diff, log, stash, branch, LFS, paths
• Runner: shell contract, encoding, shell-safety whitelist
• Engine: command classes, write lock, branch-name safety, file-list helpers
• Push planner
• Log messages: failure shape (GitotLogger.fail()), result lines (repo, branch, forced push), failure titles, fallbacks
• Repo sync state, settings clamping
• UI helpers: sync symbols, counts, tooltips, titles, LFS dashboard texts and stats, issue header

Run: install GdUnit4, open the test panel, run all suites under test/.

Manual

UI flows tested in the editor: stage, commit, amend, push, pull, branches, remote delete, tags, shelf, issues, LFS panel, console menu. Use docs/regression-checklist.md as the checklist.

Not covered

• UI flows and full node wiring (only a few panel suites exist: branch, LFS, issues, result router).
• LFS against a real LFS remote (Install LFS, real push/pull/prune, not-installed views).
• Git older than 2.32, and a project inside a repository subfolder.
• Linux, macOS, non-Windows-1252 code pages.
