Survival Changes

There are some other changes made to survival.

Block loot table changes

• Fully grown carrots and potatoes will only have a 10% chance of dropping an extra carrot or potato.
• Fully grown wheat will only drop wheat 20% of the time, otherwise it will drop more wheat seeds.
• Stone will drop quartz 10% of the time, following the ore drops formula.

Crafting

• The beacon is not able to be crafted.
• Leather is crafted by placing 2 Rabbit Hide or Fur into a shapeless crafting recipe, rather than 4.
• Leather can also be cooked on a campfire.
• Netherite chestplates and leggings are upgraded using Netherite Blocks rather than ingots.
• Soul Campfires are crafted by placing 1 nether star or animal soul and 1 campfire into a shapeless crafting recipe.
• Arrows can be crafted with bones or sticks.
• Mushroom stew can be crafted with 3 brown mushrooms and 1 bowl.
• Mushroom stew can be crafted with 3 red mushrooms and 1 bowl.
• Enderchests can be crafted with an ender pearl in place of an ender eye.
• Magma blocks can be crafted by placing 2 lava buckets and 2 cobblestone in 2x2 checkerboard pattern.
• Soul sand can be crafted by surrounding an animal soul or nether star with 8 sand.
• Soul soil can be crafted by surrounding an animal soul or nether star with 8 dirt.
• Any wool can be combined shapelessly with white dye to produce white wool.
