Review queue

The Review Queue collects unattached personas, multi-source citations, and potential duplicates that require genealogical adjudication. Open this screen when you want to link evidence to conclusion people, examine date issues, or clean up duplicate records in your tree.

What you see

The upper section displays tables for unattached personas and multi-source citations, showing names, claims, and source documents alongside an Attach… button for each entry. Further down, you find tables for date and age issues featuring a Not an issue button, followed by search pickers and a Compare and merge button for manually combining records. The lower portion includes candidate grids for duplicate people, persona matches, linked personas, and duplicate places, accompanied by a Scan for duplicates button.

Common tasks

Attach an unattached persona

1. Locate the persona in the Unattached personas table.
2. Select Attach… on the corresponding row to open the attach dialog.
3. Complete the attachment to link the persona to a conclusion person.

Dismiss a date or age issue

1. Locate the entry in the Possible date/age issues table.
2. Select Not an issue to remove the warning from the queue.

Scan for duplicate records

1. Locate the Possible duplicate people section.
2. Select Scan for duplicates to refresh the candidate lists.
3. Review the matching pairs in the candidate grids and select an action to resolve them.
