The dedicated Slicer Piano Roll arranges slice instances independently of Festival singing events.
Each event stores source slice ID, start tick, duration ticks, MIDI note, velocity, and selection state. Timing uses a fixed PPQ grid and a configurable BPM.
- Add an event using the active slice.
- Drag events horizontally and vertically.
- Select one event or use a rectangular marquee.
- Delete, duplicate, cut, copy, and paste.
- Select all or clear selection.
- Undo and redo arrangement changes.
- Edit start beat, length, MIDI note, and velocity in the inspector.
Grid choices range from quarter notes to thirty-second notes. Free accepts arbitrary event lengths. Loop Snap adjusts duration to complete loop repetitions according to slice markers, pitch, BPM, and sample rate.
Set the playback start position, enable optional looping, choose loop length, and use Play or Stop. The playhead follows current transport time. Overlapping events are played polyphonically.
