Song and Event Editing

A song stores a title, voice, musical BPM, and an ordered list of singing events.

Events

Each event represents either a pitched phoneme or a rest. Pitched events store a musical pitch, duration in beats, and phoneme text. An empty phoneme represents silence.

Event list

The synchronized list supports adding pitches and rests, duplicating events, deleting events, and selecting an event for detailed editing.

Piano roll

Notes can be selected, dragged in time, transposed vertically, and resized. Configurable snapping includes whole beats and fractional divisions. Optional local tone playback follows drag and resize operations.

Editing history

Song edits support Undo and Redo. New, Open, and saved-document state are integrated with the application menus.
