Datapack Tags
Pack type: Datapack · Location:
data/fxntstorage/tags/block/anddata/fxntstorage/tags/item/Part of Customizing Create: Storage. New to datapacks? Start with Datapacks there.
Create: Storage uses tags to decide how upgrades and blocks behave. Adding to a tag needs only a small JSON file (or a KubeJS script), and your values are added to the mod's defaults.
All tags on this page are in the fxntstorage namespace. Each tag lists the file path to use in your datapack.

Type: Item tag · File: data/fxntstorage/tags/item/disabled_backpack_upgrades.json · Default: empty
Disables backpack upgrades for the whole pack. An upgrade in this tag:
- Can't be crafted. Its recipe is not loaded, so it is also gone from the recipe book and recipe viewers.
- Is hidden from JEI, EMI, REI and the Create: Storage creative tab.
- Can't be installed in a backpack's upgrade slots.
- Stops working if it is already installed. Its effects, panel and hotkeys are switched off. Players can still take it out (click or shift-click), so nothing is lost. Items kept in the upgrade's own slots (e.g. the Crafting grid or a Jukebox disc) stay there and are usable again if the upgrade is re-enabled.
- Shows "Disabled in this modpack" in its tooltip, for any copies players already have.
Use either the active or the deactivated item ID; both disable the upgrade. Upgrade items players already have, are never deleted.

Notes
- The upgrade template (
fxntstorage:backpack_blank_upgrade) and Storage Box upgrades are not affected by this tag.- After
/reload, the creative tab hides newly disabled upgrades straight away, but the creative search tab only updates after rejoining the world.
Type: Block tag · File: data/fxntstorage/tags/block/ore_mining_block.json · Default: #c:ores
The blocks the Ore Mining Upgrade treats as ores. While the upgrade's Mine Ores Only setting is on (the default
in its panel, or forced for everyone by the server's mineOresOnly config option),
only blocks in this tag are vein-mined.
Add modded ores that aren't already in #c:ores:
{

"mymod:tin_ore",
"mymod:deepslate_tin_ore"

}Type: Block tag · File: data/fxntstorage/tags/block/breakable_with_any_tool.json
Default: glass blocks and panes, beds, candles, corals, wool and carpets, beacon, honeycomb block, lever, turtle and sniffer eggs, cactus, froglights, glowstone, redstone lamp, sea lantern, dragon egg
Blocks that drop themselves no matter which tool breaks them. Two upgrades use it:
- Tool Swap Upgrade: doesn't swap tools before breaking these blocks.
- Ore Mining Upgrade: can break these blocks even when the held tool isn't the correct one.
Add decorative blocks from other mods that behave like glass or wool:

}Type: Item tag · File: data/fxntstorage/tags/item/refill_blacklist.json · Default: empty
Items the Refill Upgrade never refills, for every player. Good candidates are items that behave unexpectedly when restocked from the backpack.
{
"values": [
"mymod:unstable_block",
"#mymod:precious_blocks"
]
}Players also have their own
refillBlacklistclient config option, which supportsnamespace:*wildcards. Use the tag when the rule must apply to everyone.
Type: Block tag · File: data/fxntstorage/tags/block/storage_network_block.json
Default: #fxntstorage:simple_storage_box, #fxntstorage:storage_trim, Storage Controller, Storage Interface,
Filtered Storage Interface
The blocks a Storage Controller walks through when it scans for its network. Any block in this tag is treated as part of the network and searched past.
To contribute items, a block must be a Simple Storage Box. Adding a block with an inventory (i.e. a Barrel) only lets the network reach across it. It does not make its inventory available to the network.
Warning: only add blocks that are meant to be part of a network. Every block in the tag is scanned, out to the
simpleStorageNetworkRangeconfig limit.
Type: Block tag · File: data/fxntstorage/tags/block/symmetry_wand_blacklist.json
Default: #fxntstorage:backpack, #fxntstorage:storage_box, #fxntstorage:simple_storage_box,
#minecraft:shulker_boxes, #create:toolboxes
Create's Symmetry Wand won't mirror placing or breaking these blocks. This stops containers from being duplicated or destroyed by mirrored actions. Add other inventory blocks from your pack:
{
"values": [
"mymod:my_storage_block"
]
}These tags describe what each block or item is. You normally don't need to change them, but they are useful in recipes and scripts. If you add your own blocks to them, they pick up the behavior listed.

To stop an upgrade from being used, add it to
disabled_backpack_upgradesrather than removing it frombackpack_upgrade. Removing it can only be done by replacing the whole tag, and the item would then be treated as an ordinary item in the backpack screen.
You can extend these the same way, in the other mod's namespace.
