We present here the set of Expression tools in Babelomics, including Clustering, Class prediction and Differential Expression for expression microarrays and RNA-Seq data.
You will find the specific tutorial of each tool by clicking in its name.
-
[Clustering](Tutorial Clustering) is the task of grouping a set of objects in such a way that objects in the same group or cluster are more similar to each other than to those in other groups. The Babelomics clustering tool allows us to choose if we want to cluster the genes or the samples, to select the method and also the distance. For further information please refer to Clustering.
-
[Class prediction](Tutorial Class prediction) tool builds prediction rules based on some features (as expression of genetic features) and uses them for further sample classification. For more information see Class prediction.
-
[Differential expression for arrays](Tutorial Differential Expression for arrays). Babelomics' set of tools for differential gene expression analysis for microarrays allows us to find genes differentially expressed among different classes, find differential gene expression related to a continuous variable or explore gene expression related to a survival time. For further information about these topics see Differential Expression for arrays.
-
[Differential expression for RNA-Seq](Tutorial Differential Expression for RNA-Seq) in Babelomics allows us to compare the expression of a genetic feature (gene, transcript, etc.) between two different cases. For further information on the tool please visit Differential Expression for RNA Seq.
