User Interface / User Experience

This section provides links to the implemented web and Android user interface code, and lists the new or significantly modified screens that should be shown with screenshots for the final milestone.

What This Section Covers

The final milestone asks for:

  1. Links to the code in the project repository for each user interface design.
  2. Screenshots of only the new or significantly modified web and mobile interfaces developed in this milestone.

The UX design of NEPH focuses on emergency preparedness, help requests, volunteer coordination, safety awareness, privacy, and admin monitoring. Since users may interact with the system under stress, the interface prioritizes speed, clarity, trust, and privacy.

The final release adds or significantly improves admin emergency monitoring, announcements, notifications, safety circles, safety status, nearby users, gathering areas, and privacy controls while keeping the emergency-focused UX principles of speed, clarity, and trust.
