Cost Analysis in OCI is a tool under Cost Management that helps us view and track cloud spending through graphs and reports. We can filter costs by date, daily or monthly periods, cost or usage, forecast, service, compartment, region, and other options.
Navigation menu > Billing & Cost Management > Cost Management > Cost Analysis
- Select Start Date of the month
- Select the end date of the month
- Select the Cost
- By Selecting the usage

- By using Grouping Dimension
Governance & IAM (Free Services)
- Compartments – Free
- IAM Policies – Free
- Tags – Free
- Identity Domains, Users & Groups – Free within default limits; premium features may require payment.
Storage (Paid Services)
- Boot Volumes and Block Volumes – Paid
- Block Volume Backups and Clones – Paid
Compute (Free/Paid Services)
- VM Instances (AMD/Intel/ARM) – Free or paid, depending on the instance type and usage limits.
