We fulfill wishes and serve many users, starting over 10 years ago & recommended by Firefox since 2022.

Opportunity:
  • a Developer's work can be leveraged so that it saves 1000s of times more effort or resources collectively than it costs. Still in the future, if society progresses and AI and the amount of developers grows, there will be features never made or published before, that 1000s of people were reasonably waiting or rather that millions could enjoy if only they ever see it structured efficiently. Thus connecting and structuring is increasingly essential.
Unforunately:
  • Many of the most meanigful ideas still never were realized due to lack of money /confidence. Many altruistic geniuses are used to work alone, since it can seem more likely to reach unique, relevant steps alone to start with. Teams also require some organisational overhead. Once you choose a unique, relevant cause, it might should receive different specific talents, that no single person has at once. (- Several developers often could make one great project worth more than several separate / parallel ones. Useless redundances can be avoided early. Often several people each work on the same cause/purpose/project needlessly. And never come together and even abandon their version sooner or later. (Which might sometimes be reasonable personally, yet contra-productive for their cause. A single person's energy simply is limited and a project can easily be too big or too lengthy for 'too' many years. Projects should persist beyond single person's energy not to needlessly confuse users at one point.

    • 2022 only < 1.75% of popular Github repos are forks & < 1.31% among those still updated.
      (=fork:only stars:>130 pushed>2021-01 ... to be repeated )
      only 2% forks forksforksgithub forks

    • ...2026: by now 2500 active projects above 130 stars are forks! ( fork:only stars:>130 pushed:>2025-01-01 ) which is 1.67% now ( / fork:true stars:>130 pushed:>2025-01-01 )
      And 1.87% of total repos above 130 stars are forks now ( fork:only stars:>130 / fork:true stars:>130 )
