Java 21.
Every destination is a hard required dependency, ordered AFTER each one:
| Mod | Version | Companion |
|---|---|---|
| Functional Storage | required | Titanium |
| Sophisticated Storage | required | Sophisticated Core |
| Apothic Enchanting | required | — |
| Apotheosis | required | — |
| Placebo | required | — |
The loader will refuse to start the game if any is missing. If you only use one of the three bridges, the other two are still mandatory — a deliberate trade for a simpler, predictable dependency graph.
Through each mod's public item-handling capability — the standard IItemHandler capability
NeoForge exposes. No mixins into any of them, no core mods, no custom protocol.
A practical consequence: the mod depends on those capabilities staying public and stable across the versions above, rather than on the internals of any mod.
Functional Storage has no physical network. Drawers and extensions are linked to the controller with the Linking Tool, within its linking range.
A target is reachable when it touches the controller itself or any block linked to it. That is why a Gem Case at the far end of a large linked network counts as reachable.
If a target is not being found, check that it is actually linked — physical adjacency alone is not enough.
- No hoppers or pipes. That is the point of the mod.
- No items or blocks added. Nothing appears in creative, nothing is craftable.
- No world data stored.
- No withdrawal. All three bridges move items into a destination.
- No per-item routing. You cannot choose which container receives what.
- It does not replace Functional Storage's own insertion, which still happens on the same click.
This is a beta (0.0.0-beta.1) — the first published version of this bridge. Treat the behaviour as
provisional.
It is a sibling of Storage Bridge (Storage Drawers), which bridges Storage Drawers controllers to the same three destinations. The two are independent mods for independent controllers — install whichever matches the storage mod you use, or both if you run both storage mods.
Remove the JAR. Nothing is stored in saves and no blocks are added, so no world data is affected.
