There are ideas on being able to offload the drive recordings to an external hard drive until you get somewhere where you can upload them via wifi.

@vanillagorillaa can I ask why this was closed? will some release after 0.5.7 fix the issue of openpilot refusing to operate when storage is nearly full? however you solve the issue (turn off dashcam recording, keep it on but when storage is nearly full just overwrite the oldest stored vids, compress / only keep the "interesting" bits a few seconds pre- and post- disengagement..) it seems anything is better than just having the device refuse to operate at all |
