Releases and updates

Published downloads and release notes are available on GitHub Releases.

Update the launcher, Nexus backend and Nexus runtime from Settings. They are distributed separately. Check each release's minimum component requirements and update the required components together.

Maintainer release process

1. Merge reviewed source into main.
2. Let main CI build the required distribution candidates.
3. Verify and approve the exact candidate.
4. Run Promote tested candidate to publish those files without rebuilding.

Develop and pull requests run source checks, not distribution builds. Stable publication requires explicit approval; a successful build alone does not publish a release.
