Installation

Flobro runs on macOS and Windows. Every download comes from the releases page; the website download buttons point at the same files.

macOS

1. Download Flobro_x.y.z_universal.dmg from the latest release. The universal build runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
2. Open the .dmg and drag Flobro into your Applications folder.
3. Launch Flobro from Applications or Spotlight.

macOS builds are signed and notarized with an Apple Developer ID, so they open without a Gatekeeper warning.

Minimum version: macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or newer.

Windows

1. Download Flobro_x.y.z_x64-setup.exe from the latest release.
2. Run the installer. It installs for the current user, so no administrator rights are needed.
3. Launch Flobro from the Start menu.

About the SmartScreen warning

Windows builds are not code signed yet, so Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" SmartScreen screen the first time you run the installer. This is expected for a new app without a paid signing reputation, not a sign that anything is wrong.

To continue: click More info, then Run anyway.

The app is open source and built automatically from the public source code, so you can always verify exactly what you are installing. Free Windows signing is planned once the project qualifies, which will remove this warning.

Updating

Once installed, Flobro keeps itself up to date. See Updates for how that works.

Uninstalling

• macOS: drag Flobro from Applications to the Trash.
• Windows: use Settings, then Apps, then find Flobro and choose Uninstall.
