🛠️ Installation

Fresh Install

Download the APK for your device from the table above.
Open the file on your Android device (from browser downloads, Telegram, or file manager).
Tap Install.
If prompted, go to Settings and allow installation from this source.
Launch Pixel Music from your app drawer.

Upgrade from a Previous Version

This is a direct upgrade — you do not need to uninstall first. All playlists, favorites, settings, and cached data are preserved automatically.

First-time sideloaders: Android may show a Play Protect warning for apps outside the Play Store. Tap More details → Install anyway to proceed. This is standard for all non-Play-Store APKs and is not a security concern.

⚠️ Known Issues

Snapchat story sharing requires the Snapchat app to be installed and logged in. Blurred background effects may fall back to solid colors on very low-end devices (2 GB RAM).
Smart Mix generation requires an active internet connection and a valid Last.fm or AI provider API key. Free-tier keys may be rate-limited during peak hours.
MIUI / HyperOS lockscreen art fix requires the app to be running or have a recent notification. If the app is force-killed by the system, lockscreen art may not appear until the next playback start.
Wear OS app requires a paired phone running Pixel Music for full library sync. Standalone offline playback is limited to previously transferred tracks.
Universal APK includes all architectures and is significantly larger than the per-ABI builds. Use the arm64-v8a or armeabi-v7a APK whenever possible to save storage.
