Why Tribu?

Most family organizer apps lock your data in their cloud, split everyday planning across too many tools, and charge monthly fees on top. Tribu runs on your own hardware, keeps your household data under your control, and gives your family one place to stay coordinated.

  • Your data stays at home — no mandatory cloud, no third-party SaaS dependency
  • Built for actual family workflows — calendars, tasks, shopping, contacts, birthdays, and reminders in one place
  • Works on desktop and mobile — responsive interface with a clean, content-first layout
  • Try before you install — interactive demo mode with realistic sample data, no backend required
  • Bilingual out of the box — German and English, lazy-loaded per module
  • Extensible when you need more — modular plugin architecture for features, themes, and languages

What Tribu helps with

  • keeping appointments, school events, and family routines in one shared calendar
  • assigning tasks without losing track of who is responsible
  • managing shopping lists together in real time
  • keeping contacts and birthdays in one place
  • reducing app sprawl across chats, notes apps, and disconnected cloud tools

Phone Sync

Tribu supports CalDAV and CardDAV for bidirectional phone sync, so calendars and contacts can integrate with mobile devices and DAV-compatible clients.

Works with:

  • iPhone / iPad via the built-in Calendar and Contacts apps
  • Android via DAV-compatible clients such as DAVx5

What you get:

  • create and edit events on your phone and see them in Tribu
  • create and edit contacts on your phone and keep them in sync
  • use Tribu as the shared source of truth for family calendars and contacts
