Use tasks for shared household responsibilities, routines, and one-off to-dos.
- title, notes, due date, priority, status, and assignee
- recurring tasks
- overdue tracking
- assignment badges
- child-friendly restrictions
- dashboard summaries
- search
- notification reminders
- quick capture conversion into tasks
- Assign tasks when ownership matters.
- Use recurring tasks for chores and routines.
- Keep task titles short and action-focused.
- Use priorities sparingly so high priority still means something.
- Convert quick-capture notes into tasks when they need follow-up.
Child members can see household context but have restricted write access. They can interact with selected task states where allowed, but adult/admin flows stay protected.
This is expected for most write actions. Use an adult or admin account for creating, editing, deleting, assigning, or changing sensitive fields.
Check the recurrence settings and whether the current task was completed in the supported flow.
