Why we do not use LXDE

LXDE is all fine an dandy if you are starting out, but really it is just a really bad version of GNOME.

In stead of using something like Nautilus (which I recommend if you are using GNOME on a desktop or more powerful laptop), LXDE uses PCMan, where you can't use it to browse files on your machine graphically.

What we do use for Rigel is Fluxbox. Fluxbox look like this really old desktop manager from 2000, but it is very configureable, can be made to look like a modern, if not advanced, desktop manager and everything in is is hackable using XResources or some other X11.

Kodos Linux will support OpenGL since the Odroid U3 has OpenGL support and will use the Pasadena compositor to support transparent window.
