Vertical blind measurement diagram

Variables Default Range Description
Window Height 2.1 0.1-50 Length of fully extended cover/window
Sill Height 0.0 0.0-50 Height from floor to bottom of window glass (meters). Set for windows not starting at floor level. Allows the blind to open more, as the sill already blocks low-angle sun.
Window Depth 0.0 0.0-0.5 Depth of window reveal/frame: distance from outer wall surface to glass (meters). Improves accuracy at oblique sun angles. See Window Depth for details.
Shaded Distance 0.5 0.0-50 How far into the room (measured horizontally from the wall) direct sunlight is allowed to reach before the blind lowers further. Smaller values keep the blind lower/more closed; larger values allow more sun deeper into the room. Set to 0 to keep direct sun from passing the glass plane (the blind closes fully whenever the sun is in the FOV). For per-zone, floor-area protection instead, see Glare Zones below.
