Editing this wiki

Edit or add a page

1. Sign in to GitHub with an account that has access to edit this wiki.
2. Open a page and select Edit, or select New Page to create one.
3. Write in Markdown, preview the result, and save with a short edit summary.
4. Add new pages to the relevant topic index and All pages.

Use descriptive, hyphen-separated names for new pages. Keep existing page names stable so incoming links continue to work.

Links & attachments

• Link to another wiki page without .md: [Woodshop](woodshop).
• Link to an attachment with its repository-relative path: [Manual](media/example.pdf).
• Keep existing explicit HTML anchors; imported section links depend on them.
• Use the sidebar for the main sections and topic indexes for detailed navigation.

Meeting minutes

Use board-minutes-MM-YYYY or member-minutes-MM-YYYY for monthly records, following the existing naming convention. Add a link to the corresponding row in Meeting minutes, and to All pages.

Edit locally

The wiki has its own Git repository. With GitHub CLI installed and authenticated:

gh repo clone https://github.com/TheLab-ms/wiki.wiki.git

Edit the Markdown files in that clone, commit your changes, and push with Git. The sidebar and footer are _Sidebar.md and _Footer.md.
