It's very important to connect the 4“ dust collection hose to the jointer when using. Using the collector will greatly reduce the amount of saw dust and chips that escape.
NOTE: It's important to start the big red Bauer dust collector before starting the jointer, due to power draw. The jointer can plug into the same extension cord as the Bauer unit.
