Upgrade compatibility through MCP

Ask your AI assistant to check a module or project path before a Magento upgrade. The new magento_compatibility tool runs built-in UCT checks, discovers target versions, and returns findings with severity and file locations. You can track progress or cancel a scan.

Update the bundled magento-inspect skill in Magento settings for compatibility workflows. See the MCP guide for example prompts.

Coding improvements

• Better completion for Hyvä and Magewire view models, factories, checkout forms, evaluation types, and flash messages.
• Better return-type recognition for Magento validator, message, and unit-test object factories, plus more argument suggestions.
• Override module email templates in a selected project theme, including nested paths, in PhpStorm and WebStorm.
• The Navigate to configuration popup shows each XML file path again.
• View Model injection is offered in editable Magento directories, including explicitly marked vendor directories.

Large external UCT runs

Set PHP memory limit in the UCT run configuration, for example 2G, when a large project needs more memory.
