Build From Source

This article is usually only relevant if you intend to make changes to the source code. Otherwise, it is recommended to use release or action builds.

The only preinstalled software required for building Teslaterm is Node.js. All other dependencies will be installed in the project directory using the usual node_modules mechanism.

To set up a clone of this repository for development or building, run npm install in the project directory.

To build Teslaterm from source, run npm run package-windows or npm run package-linux, depending on your target OS. This will create a directory dist/{windows,linux}-unpacked containing the unpacked content of the usual zip download.

To run Teslaterm from source, use npm start.
