Shape-following purple and lilac glow for Windows and macOS.

The circular backdrop is replaced by light that follows each cursor silhouette. Glow width is tuned individually for pointer, text, ring, resize and move roles, with a pale inner glow and a soft purple outer glow. Rounded artwork, white borders, hotspots and animations are preserved. Includes dark and light previews in the repository.

Windows: extract the ZIP and run Install.cmd. Restore.cmd restores the saved previous scheme. Native cursor loading and isolated install/restore checks passed.

macOS 14+: use PKG/DMG or ZIP, then apply in Mousecape. The PKG is not Developer ID signed or notarized. Interactive activation on a personal Mac remains untested.

v1.2.2 — Circular purple halo

Final circular purple halo for Windows and macOS.

• Smooth circular falloff removes the square glow boundary.
• Soft pale inner light complements the dark pointer and white border.
• All cursor roles, busy/working animations and HiDPI images use the same final artwork.
• Hotspots and pointer geometry are unchanged.

Windows: extract the Windows ZIP and run Install.cmd. Restore.cmd returns to your saved previous scheme. The native Windows cursor loader and install/restore tests passed; the final theme was installed and its active arrow pixels checked against the generated asset.

macOS 14+: use the PKG/DMG launcher or ZIP, then apply the theme in Mousecape. The cape and packaging were validated on a macOS runner. Interactive activation on a personal Mac remains untested. The PKG is not Developer ID signed or notarized.

Browser Pointer Rounded 1.1.1 — installer fixes

Windows installer and restore reliability update; cursor artwork is unchanged.

• Validate the manifest and required files before writing cursor settings.
• Avoid nested directories on reinstall.
• Retain the original backup during updates; refresh it when installing over another theme.
• Roll back registry changes after a failed install or refresh.
• Add PowerShell -WhatIf support and isolated registry tests.
• Validate macOS assets and Windows restore logic in CI.
• Build the macOS PKG with the version from VERSION.

macOS 14+: install the PKG and open Browser Pointer Rounded from Applications, or use Install.command in the Mac ZIP. Setup downloads Mousecape from its upstream release. Select the theme and click Apply in Mousecape. The installer is not Apple-notarized; interactive cursor behavior across Mac applications still needs user feedback.

Browser Pointer Rounded for Windows and macOS, with the approved rounded corners.

macOS 14+: download the macOS ZIP and run Install.command, or install the PKG and open Browser Pointer Rounded in Applications. Setup downloads Mousecape SwiftUI from its upstream GitHub release and verifies SHA-256. Select the cape and click Apply in Mousecape. Enable Launch at Login there for persistence.

Windows: extract the Windows ZIP and run Install.cmd. Restore.cmd restores the previous cursor configuration.

The macOS cape has 1x/2x/3x PNG resources, 39 cursor identifiers and two 12-frame animations. The installer is not Apple Developer ID signed or notarized. Cape assets and installer syntax are validated; interactive use across Mac applications still needs testing on a user's Mac.
