Locations
Within your pet's home there are a few different spaces for them to hang out. Some of these have special perks. And your pet will have their own favorite place to spend time.
You can choose to take your pet to a different location, and sometimes they'll decide to go to different locations on their own.
Beyond those at-home locations, there are also some external locations such as the park, forest, aquarium, and beach which you can visit with your pet by taking vacations via the store.
The living room is the main room of your pet's house. It's the first room you'll spend time in with them, and somewhere they'll often want to spend time lounging. Playing with your pet here consumes less energy and playfulness from them, and rewards them with a bit more fitness.
Your pet will take themselves to the bedroom automatically when they're tired or uncomfortable.
while in the bedroom, they gain an extra bonus to energy and comfort while sleeping or napping. They'll also be willing to sleep or nap without being quite as tired as they would need to be in other rooms.
When eating in the kitchen, your pet will gain an extra bonus to their fullness and energy, so it's worth going there to feed them. If you feed them their favorite meal or snack in there you can gain an even bigger bonus for them. But you'll want to make sure you maintain variety in their meals so they don't get bored with one type of food.

However, being outside in bad weather (storms, snow, heat, or cold) can make them sick and uncomfortable, and they'll probably want to head back inside before too long.
