The PCB

I have identified that the component to the right of the P25D80SH is a capacitor, however my multimeter does not have a capacitance setting, so I must locate tools to get the value.

I’ll take measurements of the pcb so that I could potentially design one and get it manufactured.

Alternatively, I checked to see if by chance the golden fingers align with the solder pad spacing of my protoboard, and they do! Potentially, I could cut my protoboard and have through-wire components in there instead. The challenge would be connecting the solder pads up inland from the edge without obstructing the board’s ability to interface with the projector’s socket. If I put wire between the pad and the wells, the wire may be too thick to make a good connection, or a safe long-term connection to the projector’s socket. What if the extra thickness stretches out the pins of the socket, and then official cartridges don’t touch anymore? Things to avoid…
