While working on the Huffman decoding I realized that I had forgotten where I got this bitstream from. I will add it here for ease of copying, but also put a copy in .txt format to hold for reference. My naming convention will be the following:
-
$xxxx$ is a 4-character abbreviation of the.binthis a1800 codec frame was derived from; -
$rn$ is the$n^{th}$ region number that it appeared in the aforementioned abbreviation; -
$fn$ is the$n^{th}$ frame number from the Region aforementioned; -
$s$ is the state of the frame, whether its verified to work on the physical projector ($w$ ), or it crashes on the physical projector ($c$ ).

I have just discovered mermaid diagrams. They're not perfect, but they work decently well for what I'm trying to convey. I am currently translating GAIN_HUFFMAN_TREE from John-K's tables.rs into more human-readable Huffman Graphs (see a1800_fuffman.md).
I have a hypothesis that the reason the projector crashes is due to a compute that is out-of-range somewhere along the line of decoding the a1800 audio frame.
Preliminarily, I had fed the identified bad frame and all the good frames above into Claude with references to this repo and John-K's a1800_codec repo in hopes to find an obvious pattern to its crash etiology.
