Jellyx is designed to be private by default and open-source under AGPL-3.0 with a commercial option.

Jellyx does not create an account, does not collect telemetry of its own, has no subscription, and shows no ads of its own. When you play from YouTube or SoundCloud, those services may apply their own rate limits or terms; Jellyx does not bypass them and adds no tracking on top.
Local files are decoded locally with Symphonia — no upload, no external call.

If you need a commercial license or have CLA questions, contact the maintainers via the repo.
- Not a Spotify clone or account-based streaming app.
- Not a DJ or mixing tool.
- Not a media center or video player.
- Not production-grade (alpha).
