Reci Support
Snap receipts, stack them up, and carry them into your tax return. A fully on-device receipt keeper that focuses on the step before accounting software.
Leave the bookkeeping itself to freee, Money Forward, or Yayoi — Reci focuses on "capture, keep, export". Glance at the numbers to confirm, save, and export a month at a time as CSV. Receipt images and amounts are processed only on your device.
Tap the capture button to open the document scanner. Line the receipt up in the frame and it captures automatically, correcting perspective so even thermal-paper receipts come out clean. Reading the text (date, store, amount, tax rate, registration number) happens on-device.
Reci is not meant to be "fully automatic" — it's designed so you glance at and fix just the numbers after capturing. You can correct the amount, date, and store on the confirmation card, and edit a receipt later by opening it from the list. Thermal paper misreads easily due to glare or fading, so capturing it flat in good light improves accuracy.
- Free: capture, record, and view up to 20 per month, and export to generic CSV
- Reci Pro (monthly): unlimited capture and records, export to freee / Money Forward / Yayoi formats, per-business projects, saving and sharing receipt PDFs, and search & tags
In addition to generic CSV, Reci supports the journal-import formats of freee, Money Forward, and Yayoi (accounting-software formats are Pro). You can also choose the character encoding (UTF-8 / Shift-JIS).
Accounting-software formats are currently in beta. freee and Money Forward let you map "which column maps to which field" on their import screen, so unmatched account or tax categories can be mapped there. Yayoi (desktop) requires names to match your registered account names. Depending on the destination's settings, account or tax-category names may need adjusting, so please try a small batch first. If in doubt, the generic CSV works freely in Excel and similar tools.
Yes. You can choose an account category when capturing (Reci suggests one from the store name) and add tags. You can also split records into multiple businesses (projects) for separate totals and exports (multiple businesses are Pro).
From Settings, use "Restore Purchases" to restore purchases made with the same Apple Account.
Your receipt data is stored on your device (there is no cloud sync). To avoid losing data:
- Keep iOS "iCloud Backup" enabled — Apple's system then includes this app's data in your device backup, so it can be restored on a new phone when you switch
- Export to CSV anytime to keep your own copy
Deleting the app deletes the on-device data.

When reporting, it helps to include:
