Lian Li LCD Themes Wiki - Home

Welcome to the Lian Li L-Connect 3 LCD Theme Editor wiki. In L-Connect 3, every visual element—ranging from static images and background videos to dynamic hardware sensors and clock hands—is managed as a Layer.

This wiki provides comprehensive documentation on the layer types, their settings as they appear in the user interface (UI), and guides to configuring them for premium designs.

1. Core Layer Concepts

Every layer in a template has the following general settings:

  • INDEX: The drawing order of the layer. Lower indexes (e.g., 0, 1) are drawn first and sit in the background (such as background videos or base images). Higher indexes sit on top.
  • VISIBILITY (Hide): Check/uncheck to show or hide the layer on the canvas.
  • LOCK (IsLocked): Locks the layer's position on the canvas to prevent accidental dragging.

2. Positioning and Sizing (POSITION & SIZE)

The placement panel contains the following fields:

  • X: The horizontal offset of the layer's left edge from the left edge of the screen (in pixels).
  • Y: The vertical offset of the layer's top edge from the top edge of the screen (in pixels).
  • WIDTH: The width of the layer (in pixels).
  • HEIGHT: The height of the layer (in pixels).
  • ZOOM RATE: The scale multiplier of the layer (e.g., 1.0 is original size, 0.8 is 80% size).
