Ring Graph Layer (Layer_GraphSensor.md)

The Ring Graph (GraphSensor) layer references pre-designed, self-contained widget presets provided by the Lian Li library. It allows you to place complex gauges or widgets without manually aligning individual elements.


1. UI Settings and Descriptions

When editing a Ring Graph layer, the following options are available in the editor panel:

  • SUBTYPE: Selects which pre-designed visual preset style to use (Ring1, Ring2, Ring3, Ring4, Ring5, SENSOR_6, SENSOR_7, etc.).
  • DATA: Selects the monitored sensor for the widget (e.g., CPUTemperature, CPULoad, FanRPM).
  • FONT: The font family applied to the widget labels and numbers.
  • ZOOM RATE: Scales the overall dimensions of the widget on the canvas.
  • COLOR: The color of the primary numerical readout.
  • TOP TEXT: The color of the top labels/headings (e.g. CPU load header).
  • BOTTOM TEXT: The color of the bottom units or status text.
  • FILL COLOR: The primary accent color used for the widget's active meters and progress graphics.
  • RING END: The secondary/gradient end color for the widget's active meters.
  • TRACK COLOR: The background panel or dial face color.

Clock position Angle
12 o'clock
3 o'clock 90°
6 o'clock 180°
9 o'clock -90° or 270°

Start is the needle angle at 0% and Total is the sweep range, not the final angle. The displayed angle is calculated as:

Displayed angle = Start + (value / 100 × Total)

For example, to move from 9 o'clock at 0% to 3 o'clock at 100%:

Start = -90
Total = 180
Rate Offset = 0
Revert = Off

This produces 9 o'clock at 0%, 12 o'clock at 50%, and 3 o'clock at 100%. Each hour step on a clock face equals 30°. Enable Revert to sweep in the opposite direction. Rate Offset shifts the normalized input rate before the sweep is calculated and should normally remain 0.
