v1.0.3
AimSeg v1.0.3
This update includes a patch version that addresses a bug triggered when one or more ROIs from the "RoiOut" set are missing, resulting in incorrect slicing in the results table. The new patch allows users to exclude an OUT ROI if the IN ROI was inadvertently added during stage 1. In such cases, the row values are filled with zeros and NaN values.
The primary changes in this version are detailed as follows:
- The roiEdges method now utilizes mapOut instead of roiOut, ensuring that the map contains keys for all ROIs saved during stage 1 (IN set).
- Additionally, axon measurements are replaced with zeros when there is no OUT ROI, ensuring consistency in the results table.
v1.0.2
AimSeg v1.0.2
This update represents a patch aimed at resolving issues with the HDF5 importer, enhancing pre-processing usability, and implementing several minor improvements. The primary changes in this version are detailed as follows:
- The importImage function has been updated, given the deprecation of the
Hdf5DataSetReaderclass. Instead, the function now employs a newimportHDF5Imagemethod using the ilastik4ijHdf5class. - The
isUpdateSiteActivemethod is used to confirm the status of theIJPB-pluginsupdate site. If the site is not active, the run is interrupted to ensure seamless operation. - Script parameters have been adjusted to preempt errors arising from incompatible inputs, thereby improving overall functionality.
v1.0.1

- Enhanced functionality in the main window, allowing for more parameter adjustments.
- Improved pre-processing script that exports 32-bit images within a normalized 0 to 1 range, if the normalization option is selected.
- Added capability in the pre-processing script to enable image resizing.
- Optimized workflow to effectively process images with a pixel size close to 0.008 x 0.008 μm (specifically for the central nervous system).
- Introduction of new scripts to export instance and semantic masks.
- Integration of new functions for user-editing, accessible through shortcut commands.
- Enriched results table now includes additional myelin-related metrics.
These updates enhance the functionality and usability of AimSeg, providing users with more control and an expanded set of features for their image analysis tasks.
