Gerber Panelizer 0.2.1

• Imported boards are displayed immediately in a labelled staging area beside the machine work area.
• Boards can be dragged manually into, within, or back out of the panel; Panelize remains available for automatic arrangement.
• Boards that do not fit remain visible in the staging area. Export and printing include only complete boards inside the work area and stop when a board crosses its boundary.
• The application checks GitHub Releases after startup and offers the download page when a newer version is available. The manual update-check button remains available.
• Installer upgrades remove the managed current or legacy desktop shortcut before creating the selected shortcut again.
• Warnings, handled errors, background-task failures, and fatal exceptions are recorded with stack traces in a rotating gerber-panelizer.log. The log is stored beside the executable when that directory is writable, otherwise under %LOCALAPPDATA%\GerberPanelizer\logs.

The Windows builds are currently unsigned and may trigger Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. Download them only from this repository, verify the published SHA-256 checksums, and inspect CNC output before machining.

• Improved legacy inch Gerber and Excellon handling for reliable TrackMaker import, including M72 and .drd drilling data.
• Added a configurable Wegstr machine profile and sample-compatible TXT programs for copper isolation, drilling, and optional cutter-compensated outline cutting.
• Copper isolation now unions overlapping supported traces and pads before calculating the configured tool-centre offset.
• Added bilingual Wegstr G-code documentation with generated commands, coordinate conventions, examples, limitations, and first-run safety checks.

The Windows binaries are not code-signed and may trigger a SmartScreen warning. Outline cutting is disabled by default because holding tabs and multiple depth passes are not generated. Inspect every program in the Wegstr controller and perform an air cut before machining. Physical-machine validation of the new output remains required.

Verification: Release build completed, all 17 automated tests passed, and the final portable EXE started successfully.

• Přidáno jednotné zrcadlení spodní strany podle osy X nebo Y a rotace desky o 90 stupňů v náhledu, Gerberu, Excellonu, uložených projektech i strojovém výstupu.
• Vylepšeno zpracování starších palcových Gerber a Excellon dat pro spolehlivý import do TrackMakeru, včetně vrtání M72 a .drd.
• Přidán konfigurovatelný profil stroje Wegstr a TXT programy podle dodaných vzorků pro izolaci mědi, vrtání a volitelné kompenzované vyříznutí obrysu.
• Izolace mědi nyní nejprve geometricky spojí překrývající se podporované spoje a pady a potom vypočte nastavené odsazení středu nástroje.
• Přidána dvojjazyčná dokumentace G-code pro Wegstr s generovanými příkazy, souřadným systémem, příklady, omezeními a bezpečnostní kontrolou prvního spuštění.

Windows soubory nejsou podepsané a mohou vyvolat upozornění SmartScreen. Vyříznutí obrysu je ve výchozím nastavení vypnuté, protože se negenerují držicí můstky ani více průchodů do hloubky. Před obráběním zkontrolujte každý program v řídicím systému Wegstr a proveďte zkušební chod se zvednutým nástrojem. Nový výstup je stále nutné ověřit na skutečném stroji.

Ověření: Release sestavení bylo dokončeno, všech 17 automatických testů prošlo a finální přenosné EXE se úspěšně spustilo.

Branded installer and GPL formatting correction

Use GerberPanelizer-0.1.8-win-x64-setup.exe for the normal installation experience. It is a branded setup executable with the Gerber Panelizer PCB icon in the file and Windows Installed Apps. It contains the MSI installer.

• The GPL-3.0 license now renders as real paragraphs; the literal \par markup is gone.
• The stretched low-resolution icon was removed from the MSI shortcut-options page, so it cannot overlap the text.
• The MSI remains available for managed deployment, while the portable EXE remains available without installation.

Installer correction

• The license agreement page now embeds the complete GPL-3.0 text generated from this repository's LICENSE file. The incorrect placeholder text has been removed.
• The PCB icon is included in the MSI metadata, Windows Installed Apps, and the installer pages.
• When an earlier Gerber Panelizer installation is detected, Setup clearly offers to replace it. Windows Installer removes the earlier version transactionally before it installs this release.
