A small native macOS menu bar app that watches your Obsidian vaults (or any git repositories) and reminds you to commit and push once you've stopped editing.

- Waits until a vault has been quiet for a while (default 1 hour), then shows a reminder with the changed files: Commit, Snooze or Skip.
- Dismissed? The next reminder comes at your daily reminder time (default 10:00).
- Commit & push in one click; a failed push is reported and shown until it's fixed.
- Any number of vaults, each with its own schedule and git settings, in a native Settings window. Changes apply immediately.
brew install --cask roypadina/tap/obsidian-vault-git-watcherOpen the app, click + in Settings and choose your vault folder (a git repository with a remote). Details: Installation · Usage · Settings.
Obsidian Vault Git Watcher is free and open source. If it keeps your notes safely pushed, a coffee on Ko-fi keeps the next tool coming — optional and always appreciated.
