PullPing asks macOS for no permission.
| macOS permission | Needed? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility | No | PullPing never reads or controls other apps |
| Notifications | No | The panels are PullPing's own windows, not system notifications |
| Full Disk Access | No | It only writes to its own folder |
| Screen Recording, Automation, Calendars, Contacts | No | Not used |
| Keychain | Its own items only | Tokens are stored in your login keychain through macOS's security tool, which does not prompt |
| Login item | Only if you turn it on | Settings → General → Open at Login; PullPing never adds itself silently |
Because the panels are not system notifications, they do not appear in System Settings → Notifications and are not affected by its per-app switches. Focus and Do Not Disturb do not silence them either: see FAQ.

Tokens: your login keychain, one item per account (
com.padina.pullping.token.<id>). The optional ntfy access token and fallback topic URL are there too (com.padina.pullping.ntfy-token,com.padina.pullping.ntfy-fallback). -
Your data:
~/Library/Application Support/PullPing(pull request and issue titles, activity, your mute and snooze choices) and the app's preferences (com.padina.pullping). It stays on your Mac.
Only api.github.com, github.com (Sign in with GitHub and the daily update check, whose download comes from release-assets.githubusercontent.com) and avatars.githubusercontent.com (account pictures). Plus your ntfy server, once you set up phone notifications. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting.
