FAQ

Direct answers to common questions about connecting ERP software to Selldone, including troubleshooting tips.

Why a personal token instead of OAuth?

ERP software often runs on local machines without a public server, so it cannot receive an OAuth redirect. The token link lets the shop owner create a scoped token for one shop and paste it into the ERP. No server-side code is needed. See Token Generation.

Opening the token link does not show my shops.

The user must be logged in to Selldone when opening the link. Log in at selldone.com first, then open the link again.

How do I revoke a token?

Open selldone.com/developer/access, find the token and revoke it.

Which orders should my ERP import?

Physical orders (baskets-PHYSICAL) with status Payed, and COD if the shop uses cash on delivery. If you omit statuses[], Payed and COD are used by default. Selldone also has FILE, SERVICE, VIRTUAL and SUBSCRIPTION orders, but ERPs work only with PHYSICAL orders.

How many orders can I fetch per request?

Up to 250 (limit max). Use offset to page through total. See Orders API.

How do I fetch only orders that changed?

Pass updated_at with the timestamp (integer) of your last sync. The endpoint returns orders updated after that date. See Synchronizing orders.

My ERP has a single "shipped" step. Can I skip states?

States must be set in order. Send the intermediate states in a series of calls: OrderConfirm, then PreparingOrder, then SentOrder. See Order Statuses.

One item is out of stock. How do I tell the merchant?

When you confirm the order, send list with only the item.ids you can fulfill. Items left out are treated as not confirmed, which helps the merchant work out the refund in the Selldone panel.

Where do I get the SKU of an ordered item?

Request with[]=items&with[]=products. Use item.product.sku and item.product.mpn, or item.variant.sku and item.variant.mpn when the product has variants.

curl fails with a "bad range" error.

curl treats [ and ] in URLs as glob patterns. Add -g (--globoff) or URL-encode the brackets as %5B%5D.

The demo page shows "Network response was not ok".

Check the shop ID, make sure the token was created for that shop and has the needed scopes (backoffice:order:read, plus backoffice:order:write for updates and tracking), and that the order ID belongs to the shop. The update and tracking demos print the API error body below the form.
