Known Issues
This page tracks currently known bugs and limitations in the TechyPad software and firmware. If you encounter a bug that isn't listed here, please open an Issue on our GitHub repository!
- Discord Video Control: As noted in the Discord Integration guide, toggling your webcam video on/off is currently not supported via the local Discord API. We are actively working on a solution.
- Bluetooth Reconnection: Occasionally, if the TechyPad goes to sleep while connected via Bluetooth, the desktop application may require a restart to pick up the connection again.
- Macro Delays: Setting extremely small macro delays (under 5ms) across many keystrokes can sometimes cause the USB buffer to overload, resulting in dropped keys.
- Support for macOS and Linux.
- More plugins for controlling other apps.
- Dynamic button icons based on application state.
