Road Map

Goals:

• The build scripts for each project should be tracked in a separate project.
• Each project should reuse the same build (and deploy) script.
• Adding features to the build script should make them available to existing projects.
• The build script should completely configure your local development for starting new projects and rebuilding existing projects

Nice to have features:

• Allow local db settings, but assume root:root@localhost/project
• Set base_url to project.dev
• Set rewrite base /
• Set local solr
• Backup previous build
• Apply post build settings
• Chmod files
• Set drush aliases
• Option to production db sync.
• Front end build (rake/etc)
• Verify build before deploy

Ideas:

• Installing a new site could be executing a shell script from github.
