Environments

An environment defines the acceptable conditions for a room.

What You Configure

For each room:

  • Sensors:

    • Temperature
    • Humidity
    • Dew Point
    • Light (optional)
  • Acceptable ranges

Example

Room: Wine Cellar

  • Temperature: 55–65°F
  • Humidity: 50–70%

Why Environments Matter

Environments allow the system to determine:

  • Is the room operating within safe conditions?
  • Are assets at risk?

Sensor Mapping

You explicitly select which sensor represents each measurement.

This avoids ambiguity and ensures accuracy.

Result

The system continuously compares:

Current Conditions vs Defined Ranges

Environments turn raw sensor data into meaningful insight.
