Labels provide a flexible way to categorize and describe assets.
Asset Intelligence uses Home Assistant’s native Labels system as the source of truth.
Asset Intelligence does not create or manage labels independently.
Instead:
- Labels are created and managed in Home Assistant
- Assets are assigned one or more labels
- Asset Intelligence reads those labels and uses them for organization and intelligence
Labels in Home Assistant are reusable tags that can be applied to devices and entities.
Examples:
- tv
- artwork
- wine
- electronics
- sensitive
- high_value
