The brain is Tome's note vault — a lightweight, markdown-based knowledge store that lives alongside your work.

• Note vaults per workspace: searchable, wiki-linkable notes.
• Promotion — turn a conversation, a review report, or any note into a permanent brain note.
• Core vault — a single vault shared across workspaces.

The assistant can read the brain as context (when you enable it), so your notes feed back into the assistant's answers.
