Overview

This page gives the standards for MMSR addresses specification that are used by the standard refinement modules. Those addresses are used to point poses (camera captures) independently of their refinement stage. In other words, an MMSR address describe specific poses taken by a given camera at a given time of a given digitisation session. Those addresses are provided as module parameter to signify which data the modules have to process.

Presentation

To identify poses without ambiguities a MAC address, a master timestamps, a segment timestamps and the timestamps range of the poses have to be given. MMSR addresses are the formalism used to specify those information.

First of all, timestamps are built using an UNIX timestamps for the second part and a secondary token representing the microseconds of the event it describes separate with an underscore. As an example, the following line give each valid timestamps :

1400683880_023612
1451265121_823612

An MMSR address simply gives the required information needed to identify poses in a specific order and using the following format :

aa-bb-cc-dd-ee-ff/1400683811/1400683814/1400683880_023612-1400684104_023612

The first element of the address gives the camera MAC address when the second and third elements give the master and segment timestamps, respectively. Two timestamps are then given, separated by a minus, that give the range of the poses pointed by the MMSR address. The different parts of the address are separated using slash characters.

In order to point a single pose, the following address has to be given :

aa-bb-cc-dd-ee-ff/1400683811/1400683814/1400683880_023612-1400683880_023612

where the poses range only contains a single possible element. Standard refinement module always expect poses specification using this formalism of MMSR addresses.
