srm raw rectile_v0.4

Nils Hamel edited this page Oct 16, 2015 · 1 revision

Overview

This refinement module is responsible of the creation of rectilinear tile images on the basis of raw data coming out of digitising devices. In other words, this module simply convert the raw data of the devices in their colorimetric (RGB) representation through debayering (demosaicing) process.

Presentation

In addition to the standard interface arguments and parameters, this module expects the following execution mode arguments and parameters :

-m [parameter]

The parameter of this argument simply specifies the method used
to compute the rectilinear tiles. If 'dcraw' is provided as
parameter the software of the same name is considered.

As described in the standard interface documentation, this module expects a parameter to the '-n' argument to determine the parentage of the data. Note also that providing local thread parameter has no effect for this specific module, the software it uses not being parallelized.

Demonstration

The following command illustrates the module script call on a set of camera poses all contained in a single MMSR range :

srm-raw-rectile --mount-point /path/to/storage\
                --address 00-0e-64-08-1b-6e/1400683811/1400683814/\
                1400683880_023612-1400684950_023612\
                -n b7e875c4e210e73f -m dcraw\
                --thread 2

On this example, the refinement process handled by this module is executed on two instances of the module kernel script.
